Geotrace opens new offices
Exploration / Seismic, July 23 2009 (Digital Energy Journal)
- Geotrace, a leading reservoir services company, has opened new offices in Tripoli, Libya and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The company says the expansion is a strategic move to augment business in areas where it has already experienced success, including a recent role providing onboard processing for the largest offshore project to date.
Geotrace was involved with managing and analyzing the 3D seismic data being collected from more than 17,000 square kilometers of Libya's offshore Sirte basin.
The company recently hosted a technical seminar at its new Libya office location to showcase some of its technologies, including marine data processing, land seismic imaging, resolution enhancement and seismic inversion, and data integration, to more than 60 current and prospective clients.
In Malaysia, Geotrace and Oilfield Optimization E&P Sdn Bhd, which specializes in providing well optimization, full field review, production enhancement, field rejuvenation and field development planning, have established a strategic business alliance.
